RACE OF THE DAY RACE 9 – PICK: CAJUN DELIGHT (7/1 ML)
The obvious starting point in this Allowance contest has to be LORILOUPIES who has completed two easy victories so far this year. There is every chance she can improve plenty more and should have a solid chance. However CAJUN DELIGHT could be a tough one to beat, this filly was was very impressive on her debut at this track. She was then tested in a much higher grade next time, but fell short. I suspect there may have been a problem that day as she was made favourite so obviously more was expected. She has been off since and if she returns fit and well could be a filly to follow this season and is my selection.

RACE 10 - PICK: TIME FOR TROUBLE (6/4 ML)
TIME FOR TROUBLE swaps barns for this run and has been found a very good opportunity in this much weaker contest. This son of English Channel has been a beaten favorite the last twice in higher grades and will hopefully get the job done.
RACE 4 - PICK: GULF COAST GAL (3/1 ML)
I can pass on a good word for the debutant GULF COAST GAL, this filly has been putting in some good track work prior to this debut. As with all first time starters it can be a bit of a guessing game, but connections are hopeful she can go very close.
