As we get closer to the 2020 Kentucky Derby there is a growing sense of excitement, especially around Tiz The Law, who is the British sportsbook's heavy, heavy favorite to win the race.

Tiz The Law is now odds-on to win the Kentucky Derby, and his odds have come in, over the past month, from 6/4 to a best price of 10/11 with one British bookmaker, and as short as 4/7 with another, which would imply a probability of 63.6% that Tiz The Law wins the Kentucky Derby.

We've spoken to the British arm of Oddschecker, the world's biggest aggregator of odds from legal books, and they've given us some exclusive betting data which reveals how British bettors have bet on the Kentucky Derby over the past month.

The data is astounding. We expected Tiz The Law to lead the betting as he's favorite but a huge 76.14% of bets have been on the son of Constitution. 74.81% of handle has also been on the horse, showing that support for Tiz The Law is only continuing to grow.

Second favorite Honor AP has moved from 9/2 to as long as 6/1, but isn't as popular with bettors, as only 1.7% of bets have been placed on him.

The second most popular bet, and the one that Oddschecker bettors deem the biggest rival to Tiz The Law is Art Collector, who has taken 4.55% of all bets, who has still taken over 16 times less bets than the favorite. Art Collector has continued to shorten in price too, moving from 12/1 to 8/1 in the past few month, and is likely to go off as second favorite. Art Collector was as long as 25/1 with some British firms before the Blue Grass at Keeneland, making his rise in the betting all the more remarkable.
