Horse racing expert Carl Nicholson gets the week started with his picks for Monday's card at Tampa Bay Downs. He has four value plays for everyone to back.
Race 1
Langue Liee has been in very good form of late and will be in the thick of the action once more. Way To Success returns from a break and has some fair form to her name, sure to run well if ready to go. Sharperthanme drops back to 6f a distance she has won at before and that should suit
Conclusion
Sharperthanme looks the way to go now back to 6f, with Way To Success the likeliest danger if ready to roll first time up this season

Carl was going the right way last season and should pick up something this season. Papa’s Place improved on his debut with a fine run when finishing in the money over a route trip and could be about to win. Capture The Ride was consistent if not progressive last season.
Conclusion
Papa’s Place looks the standout giver his progressive profile and should get the job done

Masterio is stepping down in grade and should be involved. Plan Of Attack has yet to hit the board but looks to have ability and this could be the right level. Florida Express is the unexposed angle and should have more to offer at this level.
Conclusion
Florida Express is a bit of a punt, but is mainly up against exposed rivals and as such looks the way to go.

Economic Policy has been gelded since the first run and showed plenty to work with when runner up. Astroturf has run in the money on all three starts and this looks to be a good opportunity to get in the winners circle. Juror is from top connections on debut and has put in some very good workouts.
Conclusion
Astroturf has showed enough in three starts to be the one to beat on known form, with the debutant Juror one to monitor in the market.
