RACE OF THE DAY - RACE 6

PASS THE PLATE has been a while since visiting the winners circle but there have been decent signs that run could be about to end sooner or later, and this is a drop in grade from the usual company she keeps. CARPE VINUM is another class dropper and he ran with credit in a much deeper races and over a distance that she probably does not really stay. She drops in trip back to the mile this time and should take a big hand in the finish. GOLDEN CURL is progressive and looked on still on the up with a smooth win last time out. NAUGHTY JOKER is probably capable of better at some stage coming from the barn she does.

CARPE VINUM could just about shade this as she has a class edge on the rest of the field. PASS THE PLATE is the other strong contender.
